  9. Long time ago,            on old 64, I
  10. never  learned          what Elite was
  11. about, and  so  I     never played it.
  12. Because  of that, I will  now  shortly
  13. explain what  it  is about, for all of
  14. you who still don't know it. The story
  15. takes  place  in    about the  33-36th
  16. century. You just got your license for
  17. intergalactic   flights.  You  are   a
  18. trader and have to make money. But un-
  19. fortunately,all the eight galaxies are
  20. overcrowded by  pirates. You  can also
  21. become a  pirate and  so make money in
  22. the fastes possible way.With the money
  23. you can buy better equipment to become
  24. a better  fighter. The most  important
  25. thing is your fighter rating. First ya
  26. are  harmless, but  you have to become
  27. #move 325,0
  28. Elite! After long time of playing, you
  29. got to  complete some special missions
  30. like, for example, hunting a new  ship
  31. that  was stolen (Constictor). But you
  32. have to fight long  battles  until the
  33. end is reached. So far, so good.
  34. There are lots of other spaceships and
  35. the most dangerous ones are Thargoids.
  36. Sometimes, they  catch  you  while you
  37. 'hyperspace' to another planet. But if
  38. you want such a fight, press  and hold
  39. 'Esc' & 'CTRL' & 'Alt'  while you  fly
  40. throught hyperspace.
  41. Here  the other keyfunctions: Some are 
  42. different.   It  depends  on   whether
  43. you are docked in a  space stations or
  44. if you are in space.
